Start by soaking the lentils in a pot of three times their volume of cold water to prevent them from burning. For 1 person, we recommend 70 g portion of lentils. The key is to have enough water to cook your lentils.

Heat a pan to a boil for 25 minutes green lentils, 35 minutes for light lentils and finally quarter of an hour for coral lentils (more express!). Lentils can be cooked in a pressure cooker
If you want to save time, this is a good technique. In addition, you can prepare more complete dishes without constantly monitoring the preparation. For example, you can reheat green lentils in the pressure cooker for 15 minutes with Strasbourg sausages, not forgetting to add their volume of water once.
